Dario Scimeca
Chief Legal Officer
Dario is the Chief Legal Officer of Precision BioSciences advising the Board and senior management on all aspects of Precision’s business.
Over a law career spanning more than 25 years, he has worked in both corporate transactional law and patent litigation at three national law firms and specializing in healthcare law at Genentech and Elan Pharmaceuticals.
He came to Precision in 2019 from Genentech, where he spent over six years supporting their oncology and rare disease programs, including their cancer immunotherapy and hemophilia pipelines. Dario provided legal and compliance guidance at multiple stages from development to commercial and medical affairs.
Dario earned his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Combined Sciences from Santa Clara University. Dario is also a former law clerk for the Honorable Judge James L. Dennis of the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans, Louisiana.
