Cassie Gorsuch, PhD
Chief Scientific Officer
Dr. Gorsuch is the Chief Scientific Officer at Precision BioSciences where she oversees all research functions, including next generation in vivo gene editing programs. She is integral to Precision’s external engagement with investors and other key stakeholders regarding ARCUS and the Company’s gene editing programs. She also plays a central role in advancing the Company’s science and representing Precision externally in scientific, medical and other forums.
Prior to her current role, Dr. Gorsuch led pre-clinical activities for the Company’s in vivo gene editing programs through final candidate selection. Prior to joining Precision in 2016, Dr. Gorsuch was a life science specialist with VWR, a global supplier of laboratory research products.
Dr. Gorsuch earned her PhD in Biological Sciences (cell/molecular biology focus) from the University of Notre Dame and Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Rockhurst University.
