Robert Brown, Ph.D.

Research Scientist

Robert ‘Rob’ Brown is a scientist on Precision’s Ocular Gene Therapy team, which leverages ARCUS technology to develop novel gene therapies to combat diseases of the eye. He joined Precision after completing a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS). Rob earned his Ph.D. in Drug Discovery and Development from the University of Arizona College of Pharmacy, and holds B.S. degrees in Biochemistry & Molecular Biophysics and Molecular & Cellular Biology from the University of Arizona. When not in the lab jockeying genes or buried under a pile of journal articles, Rob can be found backpacking, paddling, canyoneering, and climbing the national parks with his wife, brewing beer with friends, or in the kitchen discovering new and creative ways to use as many dishes as possible while making dinner.
