Michelle Fiordalisi, PhD

Manager, Quality Control

Michelle is a part of the Quality team at Precision BioSciences, focused on managing Quality Control (QC) analysis of Precision’s CAR T and gene therapy products. Michelle received her PhD in Molecular Biology from Washington University in St. Louis. She fell in love with flow cytometry during a fellowship at UNC Hospitals which led her to managing flow-based clinical diagnostics at LabCorp, and then to a startup biotech company (Aldagen) exploring the potential of Regenerative Medicine cell therapies. While there, she wore many hats, which included establishing and managing a cleanroom suite and small microbiology lab. Along the way, Michelle became an advocate for QC and QA and enjoyed QA manager positions in agriculture and clinical diagnostics. Thanks to a colleague, she made her way back to biotechnology by joining Precision! Michelle enjoys time with her husband and two teenagers when they’re not at sports or with friends. Hailing from Wisconsin, she roots for the Green Bay Packers and challenges herself by doing the NY Times crossword puzzle in ink daily (except Fridays!), crafting handmade cards, and gardening.
