Chelsea George

Research Assistant, Cell Therapy Discovery

Chelsea is a part of the Cell Therapy Discovery team at Precision, working to develop CAR T cells for therapeutic studies. Originally hailing from the great state of Alaska, Chelsea moved to NC in 2012 and hasn’t wanted to leave since. She joined Precision after completing her MS in Chemistry in the Troutman lab at UNC Charlotte, where her work focused on the tracking of isoprenoid pathways in bacteria. During her time there, Chelsea gained experience in everything from chemical synthesis to bacterial pathways and molecular biology techniques. When Chelsea is not in the lab, she can either be found with her cat, Annie, or working on her ukulele skills.
